Although I love my home, I happily went outside because I had the pleasure of being invited to the Shea Moisture Dream Fund event. It was an inspiring evening with a room full of successful Black Canadian entrepreneurs. Five woman-owned businesses were awarded a 10k grant for their future projects, which was incredible.
We had great hosts, and our wonderful keynote speaker, Vivian Kaye, kept us cracking up while leaving us with some impactful words to remember. The people, food, music, and products were so amazing. It was a great way to kick off the Caribana weekend. I'm so glad I was able to attend.
